How much will this cost?

Most sites cost between $495 and $1200, depending on the number of pages, content type, and extras. Most sites include the domain and a year of hosting...so you pay nothing else for a year. (Domains are $25 per year/hosting $15 to $25 per month thereafter.)

What is a domain, how do I get one?

A domain are the words people will type into their Internet Browser to find you, Ex. www.realestate.com. The domain is free when you use 8020Tech/DesignArkansas as your designer.

How do I pick a domain?

Please allow us to help you select a domain. It is not as simply as you might think.

• Keep it short and memorable.
• Use words that relate to your business type.
  Ex. HomeInspectionsAR.com is better than JonesInspections.com. Although your business may be named Jone’s Inspections, HomeInspectionsAR tell the online searcher what you do.

What about the WWW?

All our sites work with WWW or not. Some hosts charge for this service. It is included with our hosting packages.

How will I be charged?

• Site that cost less than $500: Required payment of 1/2 upfront and 1/2 when the site is finished.
• Site that cost more than $500: Required payment of 1/3 upfront, 1/3 at the half-way point, and 1/3 when the site is finished.

Will someone meet us in person?

We have clients in 28 states. We do not meet personally with most of them, of course. We can do the site while communicating completely over email and phone, but if you prefer a face to face meeting, that is certainly possible. But, to keep our costs low, we do require that you drive to Conway or Little Rock to meet with our representative.

What is the usual process?

We will ask you to send us links to 3 or 4 sites that appeal to you. Tell us what you like about each. We will then incorporate (re-create) the best elements of each site into a one-of-a-kind website design for you.

How long does it take to get the site up and running?

You will have email within 24 hours of the upfront payment. They will include your domain name. Most sites are complete in 1 to 3 weeks.

What about contracts?

To keep our costs low we prefer not to work with contracts. Getting your site up and running is simple with 8020tech/DesignArkansas: You don’t pay us the full fee until you are happy, and then you pay your monthly hosting fees.  This keeps it simple and efficient for both parties.

What if I want to move my site to another host?

You simply stop paying your monthly hosting fee. Your new host can download the site for you, or we can send it to you by mail or e-mail for a $50 fee.  Once purchased in the beginning your domain belongs to you. For a fee of $25.00 we will transfer your domain to your new host. These fees simply cover our time. We do not make a profit on these transfers.

How much is hosting?

Simple e-mail and site hosting is $15 per month. We bill quarterly. If you pay one year in advance, you get 2 months free.

Will you submit my new site to Google?

Yes, we submit all our sites to the top search engines; your success is our success.

What if I have a problem? How do you provide help?

My company does not have a logo. Can you help with that?

Yes, we can design a logo and business cards for your website. This is a $150 add-on.

Can you translate my site to Spanish?

Yes. English to Spanish translation is a $100 add-on.
